REK Racing Owner: Robert E. Kahle Robert Kahle is a Petty Officer First class in the United States Navy. For the last 8years, Rob has owned, built and raced in many different race cars classes. REK Racing was initially formed in Lima, Ohio. After joining the Navy, Rob and REK racing has had the honor of racing in California, Washington, and Virginia. Car classes have included Enduros, Hobby Stocks and ICMA Modifieds. For the 2007 season REK racing built a car for Langley Speedways Superstreet Series. The year was used as a development year as they adjusted and welcomed current series driver Garrett Willcox. The 2008 season brought the highest finish for and the highest points finish for REK Racing. REK racing would like to thank Superstreet Series sponsor Bass Pro Shops and the new primary sponsor for the REK racing Chevy Monte Carlo; IHOP Restaurants. 2009 is full of high expections with the addition on new sponsors Super 8 Motels and Toms. With the addition of veteran driver Robert Ellis REK Racing hopes to find victory lane this year.
